AMGH Hospital

Passionate about serving with compassion!

Beginnings

The AMGH ( commissioned in April 2007) with a bed strength of 40 beds (34 of these beds are in the general ward category), is currently the only functioning unit of the DHS, conducts regular outpatient clinics in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, Plastic-Reconstructive-Hand Surgery, Andrology and Urology, General Dental Surgery, Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, Clinical Neuropsychology. Complementary departments include Anesthesiology, Pathology, Radiology, Ultrasonography, and a Physiotherapy department.

The Day Care Ward facility provides an excellent option for patients requiring daycare admissions or surgery and is proving to be a facility that is utilized by both physicians and patients, particularly because of the affordability and accessibility.

A modern clinical Pathology Laboratory along with the Radiology and Ultrasonology department supports the bulk of investigations ordered by our doctors.  The pathology lab undertakes diagnostic evaluation of hematology, biochemistry, microbiology values in addition to Histo-Pathological and Cytology studies.

Regular IN-Patient services are being provided under the various specialties, are proving to be increasingly popular both with the patients (private ward occupants and paying category) and physicians alike given the facilities available, the standardization of the charges – costs involved and the affordability – economics involved.

It is particularly relevant to reiterate that all the policies at the Dhanvanthri Hospital Society are economic factor-driven and patient-centric, without any compromise on quality or quantity in order to maximise the benefit to all concerned – the patient, the doctors, and the institution.
